New York City! The city of dreams. Everybody’s favorite. Popular for its huge skyline and amazing huge architectures, one is always excited to see it. I remember first time I saw it I was in a complete awe of it. Specially when you live in a suburb a visit to the city is exciting in every possible way.

With so many tall building around, NYC has multiple observatories as well. You can visit The World Trade Center Observatory, The one at the Empire State or the one at the Rockefeller center. After visiting all, The Edge in the heart of the Hudson Yards is my favorite.

I love the Edge so much because you can actually see all the popular tourist spots be it WTC or Empire state or the Times square from the Edge itself! It has the best 360 views of the city. Its suspended in the mid air made with glass walls to give you an unobstructed view from the 100th floor!

Did you know? Edge has the highest sky deck in the Western Hemisphere of the city.

1. Where is Edge located?

Edge is located on the 100th floor of the 30 Hudson Yards building between 30th and 33rd street on 10th Avenue.

2. How much does the tickets cost?

You can buy tickets for general admission, premium pass or have a flex pass created. For a tourist general admission is what you are looking for.

General Admission Prices:

Adults (Age 13-61)- $38

Child (6-12)- $33

Senior Citizens (62+)- $36

*additional &10 per ticket if you choose the sunset slot.

3. What is the best time to visit?

It opens from 10 A.M to 10 P.M. The best time to visit is during the sunset. So plan your trip half an hour before sunset so you get to enjoy both sunset and night views.

4. How much time you need?

When you buy tickets it says its for an hour.

5. How to reach and where to park?

You can park at nearby paid parking’s. If you have planned out a full day itinerary near Hudson Yards suggestion is to buy full day paid parking. Which is anyway cheaper than separate ones.

Where to eat in Downtown?

Our new favorite is JAJAJA. A vegetarian Mexican food eating place. And I can just go on and rave so much about it. If you like Mexican food and are looking for some new flavors and great vibe head to this restaurant! It is located at 4 different locations in NYC. Hudson Yards also has one. We always go to the one located in Lower East side.
