Niagara Falls is a majestic waterfall famous for its immense flow of water in North America. Known for its highest rate of water flow in the world. It’s situated between and shared by USA and Canada, this great falls can be seen from both the countries.

In USA, the falls can be visited from New York state by visiting Niagara Falls State Park. To see the Canadian side, you can visit Niagara falls from the city Ontario.

What to see?

CANADA & USA
Niagara Falls State Park

Your visit to the American side of the water fall starts from the Niagara Falls State Park. This state park has the closest view of the falls in the New York State. You can park your car at the visitor center or at Seneca Casino. Parking at the visitor center can be a bit pricey. Its a two minute walk from Seneca Casino.
Maid of Mist

Start your day with the Ferry ride. The boat ride in the Niagara Falls are pretty amazing. The American side ferry ride (the blue one) is called ‘Maid of Mist ‘. And the Canadian side ferry (red one) is popularly known as ‘Horn blower‘. You can book tickets for the boat rides online or at the counter in the Falls state park. I would recommend booking it online to avoid long queues. It was an once in a lifetime kind of experience. What I loved about the ferry ride, is how you can see all the 3 falls (American falls, Bridal Veil, Horse shoe) so closely and clearly. Seeing the vast waterfall can be overwhelming. They give you ponchos, but you can get wet. I totally enjoyed that part.
- They have launched new fully electric boats. We got a chance to experience them. They were pretty smooth.
- Adult Tickets: $25.25 & Child: $14.75
- New tour starts every 15-20 minutes.
- Ferry boat tour usually takes place from May to November.
Observation Tower & Rainbow Bridge

While waiting for your ferry ride, you can see the vast views of the Niagara falls. The observation tower is at a great height to observe the vast falls. Also from the tower you can see the Rainbow Bridge that connects the USA & Canada Borders.
Terrapin Point Horse Shoe Falls

If you walk along the Niagara Falls in the Niagara Falls State Park towards the Terrapin Point, you can see the complete top view of the Horse Show Falls.

Graffiti Street
A cute little wall of Graffiti at 425 Thirst Street, Niagara Falls, NY is a hidden gem. If you are strolling around or waiting at your favorite restaurant, do check out this block. Why not some funky pictures?

This time we visited these majestic falls in the summer time. Will be back with a frozen Niagara. See you in winters. Stay tuned.
Niagara Falls are truly an amazing place to see. Although the falls are very commercialised, I would love to visit them one day and take a trip on the Maid of the Mist. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day. Aiva 🙂 xxx
