The city that never sleeps.
Being a Delhiite I have always had an affinity towards busy cities, skyscrapers and food. For me New York is the best place to be. New York City is made of five boroughs/county- Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island.
If you are going to New york from jersey side, there are two ways. Either you go by road to the main city or park your car at Exchange place, take the ferry or Path (Train) to cross Hudson river. New york is a very busy city. If you are hoping you’l land parking in that city easily, think again. So, choose option second. We did the same. Ferry!! <Tip alert>
Like every first timer I also had a list of places I wanted to see first. After crossing Hudson, there are couple of places you can see.
For day 1, we chose the below places to see.
- Oculus

- World Trade Center

- Statue of Liberty (Staten Island ferry)

- Brooklyn Bridge

- Manhattan Bridge

- Times square
